2026 Executive Board
Jasmine López (she/her), Community Affairs Director
Jasmine López was born and raised in California’s Central Valley, where she developed
a deep commitment to speaking out for immigrant and farmworker communities. That
foundation continues to shape her advocacy today, alongside her professional work
advancing the rights and supports of people with disabilities and their families.
Jasmine currently serves as a Bilingual Project Coordinator with The Arc of California,
supporting statewide initiatives that expand access to services for Californians with
intellectual and developmental disabilities.
She is especially committed to ensuring Spanish-speaking families have access to clear information, resources, and opportunities to engage in advocacy. Through her work in disability rights and
community organizing, Jasmine believes that politics is not confined to elections—it
lives in the everyday choices we make, the communities we build, and the voices we
uplift.
As Community Affairs Director for the Sacramento County Young Democrats, Jasmine
focuses on strengthening community partnerships, uplifting diverse voices, and
expanding the club’s presence across the Sacramento region. She is passionate about
connecting the club to grassroots efforts that support women, people of color, queer and
trans communities, young people, and others whose voices deserve to be heard and
represented.
Jasmine earned her B.A. in International Business with a minor in Spanish and French
from Sacramento State. In her free time, you can find her exploring her East
Sacramento neighborhood, hiking, re-reading her favorite Joan Didion book, working
out, and spending time with friends.
